We've compiled below a selection of some of our most frequently asked questions. If you can't find the answers to your questions, feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Q. What time will your team be arriving?
A. For all local removals, we aim to be at your property for 8.30am. For jobs further afield or for smaller jobs, the start time may vary and we will contact you prior to the move date with a specific time.
Q. Will I need to arrange parking for the removal vehicles?
A. It is your responsibility to arrange parking spaces at both your collection and delivery addresses. This can be secured with your own vehicles, cones or you can contact BANES local council here.
Q. Can I leave stuff in drawers?
A. Although we recommend removing all items from drawers, it is safe to leave clothing and non-fragile items in chests and trunks. We ask that items are removed from cupboards, wardrobes and divan bases.
Q. Do we use agency staff?
A. No. We only use our own staff.
Q. Can you move my piano?
A. We move all types of pianos, from upright to Grands. Click HERE to find out more.
Q. When do i need to pay for my removal?
A. We require payment for removals 7 days prior to your removal date. Storage fees can be paid by a monthly standing order. You can pay your invoice online via our payments page.
Q. Will you disassemble my flat pack furniture?
A. We are happy to take apart and rebuild beds as part of our standard removal service. If you have any flat pack furniture that needs to be taken apart, our estimator will pick this up during the quote and build the cost into your removal quote. Please make the estimator aware of any flat pack furniture that needs to be taken apart during the quote. Please note we do not re-build furniture that we have not taken apart, including new flat pack funiture, unless we have been asked to do this as part of your quotation.
Q. Are you insured?
A. We are covered by a standard liability policy that covers your items whilst being moved by us. Our standard cover insures goods to the value of £25,000 which is included free of charge. If your goods exceed the standard cover amount, please inform us during the quote so wee can include any additional insurance premiums. We also ask that you make the estimator aware of any individual items that exceed £10,000 in value.
Q. What happens if there is a breakage?
A. Although rare, unfortunately accidents can happen. Be sure that we take any damages seriously and if a satisfactory solution or repair can't be reached with ourselves, your claim will be forwarded to our insurers.
